Hi everyone. Today is the fourth day of the Annual Season For Nonviolence. Each day of the 64 days between January 30th (Assassination of Mahatma Gandhi) and April 4th (Assassination of Martin Luther King Junior), is dedicated to a simple practice or thought which will help us to become more conscious of the peacefulness inside each of us. I was given this list on Sunday at my Church (The San Diego Center for Spiritual Living) and I would like to pass these thoughts on to you.

Here we are in week two and here are 7 more daily practices starting with yesterdays Feb. 9th. In-Joy

Day 11 Today I will look beyond stereotypes and pejudices.

Day 12 Today I will choose to be aware of what I talk about and I will refuse to gossip.

Day 13 Today I will live in the present moment and release the past.

Day 14 Today I will silently acknowledge all the leaders throughout the world.

Day 15 Today I will speak with kindness, respect,and patience to every person that I talk with on the phone.

Day 16 Today I will affirm my value and worth with positive “self-talk” and refuse to put myself down.

Day 17 Today I will tell the truth and speak honestly from the heart.

“I lift my mind and heart to be aware to understand, and to know that the Divine Presence IAM is the Source and Substance of all my good.”

How can I come to understand that the Divine Presence I AM is the source and substance except by constant reminding, and paying attention to my thoughts. Re-minding-to do it again, and again, and again, over and over. Maybe to write on the white board of my mind 100 or 1000 times;

God is my Source, there is no fear in God. God is in me and is my constant supply.

Well you get the point. It takes a lot of reprogramming to get the fear messages we were raised with out of our consciousness. The spiritual path is about retraining the mind. Every religious tradition says so. In Christianity the New Testament is full of reminders to reprogram our mind. Mindfulness is the way to grab hold of wayward thoughts and replace them with God thoughts.

“Blessed is the man who’s mind is constantly on Me.” Well this is from the Old Testament.

“Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.” Philippians 4:8-9 The Message

“Don’t be like the people of this world, but let God change the way you think. Then you will know how to do everything that is good and pleasing to him.” Rom 12.2

“Every time I think of you, I thank my God.” Philippians 1.3

Theses are just a few of the multitudes of verses from every religion that tells us to pay attention to our minds and reprogram them from the negativity so prevalent to the worlds system.

I’ll make a bold statement here and say that every Holy Book of every religion has this one purpose to help us retrain our mind.

“My inner supply instantly and constantly takes on form and experience according to my needs and desires, and as the Principle of Supply in action. It is impossible for me to have any needs or unfulfilled desires.”

“…instantly…” This instant, right now, for this instant, at this instant all of my needs are met. Sit right where you are now and see if this isn’t so but don’t go one instant past this one. If I look to a future “instant” they are not. I can think of many, many things and the multitude of desires I have for the next instant some of which can generate a fear response. But right now ALL is well. Everything is perfect right now. Everything is in its perfect place and in Divine Order right now.

“…constantly…”This perfect instant moves without notice, seamlessly into the next. By the time I write one letter I’m already there/here right now and the same instant of provision and perfection moves right along without me noticing, most of the time, unless I’m paying attention.

The future does not exist and the past is gone. The first words of this journal entry are a remembrance of what was once written but can only be remembered now this instant.

This study is called a ‘Plan’ which pulls me along into the next instant. I am in this instant planning my next multitude of instants to be just as this one: perfect, complete, whole, without any need or unfulfilled desires. I do have things to do in the future but I cannot do anything in the future.

And so it is. I have no place to go and nothing to do but enjoy this instant constantly while in the doing of my daily life. My “future” is directed by my will at any instant into this perfection of space and time.

Space and time do not move. Time is not running out. Time is not running anywhere, it has no place to go. It is I who move across this screen of consciousness, playing my part in the perfection of my life, interacting with other players on the immoveable screen of consciousness we call space and time. All this is in perfect harmony, grace, love, beauty, joy, peace, contentment and fulfillment.

And yet I too can Stop. When I stop everything seems to move. If I am on the Merry Go Round I move, if I get off, the Merry go round moves. Be Still and know that I am God.

This is God in action, my God-self moving me along in the perfection of Divine Providence. There is no going against the flow of this river and in each instant I am exactly in the perfect harmony weather I am conscious of it or not.

This is just the way it is.

This is It’s perfection. Everything is in its perfect place at its perfect time for the fulfillment of every need and desire. I do not need to worry about anything or get upset about anything.

I can choose to rest and flow with the river or I can fight it. One choice will bring Peace and the other will bring anxiety, pain and fear.

I am at rest, there are no mistakes, God has me right where I’m supposed to be for how can I be any place but here and now.

Physical time and space are irrelevant. I am moved along by my will activated by the larger Will.

All is perfection.

Day 25 of the 40 day Prosperity Plan

Full of Light 1

“Money is not my supply. No person, place or condition is my supply. My awareness, understanding and knowledge of the all-providing activity of the Divine Mind within me is my supply. My Consciousness of this Truth is unlimited, therefore, my supply is unlimited.”

You are full of light, so full of light that if it were not contained in this vessel it would blind the world. There is no end or beginning of this light. When the light passes thru the prism of the mental and physical we see its component colors of Love, Compassion, Joy, abundance, peace, all in unlimited abundant supply a blinding sun of perfection, complete and whole without any darkness at all.

You are full of light.

You are full of joy.

You are full of peace.

You are full of love.

You are full of grace.

You are full of Truth.

You are full of generosity.

You are full of money.

You are full and have no needs.

This is abundance, Unlimited God.

“Whom the Son sets free shall be free indeed.”

I am free of all limitation of all darkness of vision, all lack and groveling. I am free of all worry, all fear, and all anger. I am free of all poverty and emptiness of every kind.

I am full of Light.

I am full of every kind of goodness.

I am full of God.

I am so full that people want what I have.

I am so full that what I contribute is a blessing for all those connected to me.

I am full and completely compensated in finances for my contribution to every project. Money flows thru me in a constant river, blessing myself and others. There are no dams, upstream or down stream.

Thank you Father/Mother God you are my Source from which my fullness flows.

The following quote from The Course in Miracles is my lesson for today:

Lesson 267 – My heart is beating in the peace of God

Surrounding me is all the life that God created in His Love. It calls to me in every heartbeat and in every breath; in every action and in every thought. Peace fills my heart, and floods my body with the purpose of forgiveness. Now my mind is healed, and all I need to save the world is given me. Each heartbeat brings me peace; each breath infuses me with strength. I am a messenger of God, directed by His Voice, sustained by Him in love, and held forever quiet and at peace within His loving arms. Each heartbeat calls His Name, and everyone is answered by His Voice, assuring me I am at home in Him.

“Let me attend Your Answer, not my own. Father, my heart is beating in the peace the Heart of Love created. It is there and only there that I can be at home.”

There is a sense of security in the idea of ‘Home’. The ideal Home is a place of belonging, welcoming, always provided for, a place of Peace and comfort and the feeling of being unconditionally loved and accepted. At home as a child I feel connected to “…the source and substance of all my good”

How this is experienced for each of us depends on the level of consciousness of the parents at the time they were raising us.

I think deep within every being is implanted the notion of “Home”. The exceptions to this ideal only proves its presence by the longings we feel in life for its fulfillment. We try in marriage to build what was lacking in our growing up and hope to gain unconditional love, Peace, acceptance, joy and goodness only to find we fall short of this feeling here as well.

Many of us came to the spiritual path looking for the fulfillment of this promise. After trying many different sources of comfort and experiencing failure we turn to God the Father/Mother of a new family.

As a friend told me about her experience in Church: “They all seemed so happy there.”

Day 17 of 40 days of Prosperity

“The Divine Consciousness that I am is forever expressing its true nature of Abundance. This is its responsibility not mine. My only responsibility is to be aware of this Truth. Therefore, I am totally confident in letting go and letting God appear as the Abundant all-sufficiency in my life and affairs.” John Randolph Price

There are two parts of us: one is dead and has no life of its own, Paul calls it ‘the body of death.’ however our entire life we have believed it is alive. The other part of us is Alive. This is the part that energizes the non-living part. As was pointed out in a couple previous posts, (here and here) a ‘live wire’ is only alive when electricity is flowing thru it. The copper and plastic have no electricity of its own. If you have ever seen a dead person you will know what I’m talking about.

“I live in God. In Him I find my refuge and my strength. In him is my identity. In him is everlasting Peace. And only there will I remember who I really am.” ACIM lesson 261

“The Divine consciousness that I am”, is the Real me. “It is Christ in me the hope of glory”, and another from Paul; “Never the less I live yet not I but Christ in me.”

Above I said there are two of me. There are not really two of me, I just think there is because I’m still attached to the old idea that my body is me, it is not. It is because my Divine Self is connected eternally to the Supreme Divinity that I can have total confidence that when I surrender to Divinity in ALL its manifestations I can rest in Peace that God will bring to me the means and the result of Abundance in my life Now.

The work and the fruit of the work are already here and everything that happens today are for my abundant benefit. All work I do is a benefit to others and there is no big or small about it. My work is perfect and complete in itself. It radiates Abundance, Goodness, Love, Peace and Joy to everyone I contact today and because of it we are all blessed. This is the fruit of the real me, The Kingdom of God within me.

As Swedenborg pointed out above the Truth has no life in it without Goodness. Abundance is the Goodness of God. If God were to point out these truths to us and never gave, this would indeed be a dead world. For God goodness and truth always act together. On that level of consciousness when we recognize the Truth of the Abundance of God’s Goodness we will manifest both.

An update: I have received employment as a caregiver which has been my work for the last 19 years and will start my next assignment this Saturday. Also I have been asked to add another day to the photo shoot I’m doing in Rosarito on December 4th this will be on the 6th in Ensenada. This is not finalized yet. God is abundantly providing and I am looking forward to more blessings from my offerings on RedBubble.

I am continually brought back to my complete dependance on the Source of my Life. This source, the Divine, God, omnipresent water of life who is ALL Good, ALL the time is the only source of everything.

This Source is not static but in constant circulation. The Divine Energy is always “moving upon the face of the deep” ocean of its infinite Goodness. It is a Divine circle just as the water of the ocean evaporates in the warmth of the sun circulating through the either and pouring down to form the rivers flowing back to the ocean.

So to this energy flows through us as money as we then give it out after it has prospered us it then prospers everyone connected to the particulars of the situation.

Just as water in the rivers and the oceans gives life to everything it touches so to does money give support and growth within the situation it is given. Money is the Good, Divine, energetic, medium given us to prosper, an easy means of energy exchange.

Just think of how much energy you spend to make money. Then with that money you can redirect that same energy into places that will benefit others who are also investing their energy into making the things you want. This is the Buddhist teaching of interdependence.

However I must remember that money is not my source it is a representation of my Source just as bread is not my source of life because “Man does not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds (flows) from the mouth of God.”

I lift up my heart and mind in gratefulness for ALL the manifestations of Divine abundance that will flow through me today.

“The Divine Consciousness that I am is forever expressing its true nature of Abundance. This is its responsibility, not mine. My only responsibility is to be aware of this Truth. Therefore, I am totally confident in letting God appear as the abundant all sufficiency in my life and affairs.”

Once I understand who God really is via the life and teachings of Jesus–his one purpose is to correct our perception of God the Father: That God does not hate us and only wants to give us Himself; dis-spell us of our dream that we are now or ever were, separate from this abundant, creative, Life of the universe.

When Jesus prayed we are to be one with the Father as he is one with the Father we become the answer to that prayer once the spell of separation is broken.

The lie of the ego/sin nature self is that God wants to “rob, kill and destroy us.” Jesus points out in John 10.10 that it is only a “thief” (ego/sin nature) who wants to do this but we think it is our “real” self and in fear project it onto God making us afraid of God. In doing so this thief has robbed us of our true connection, our oneness with God because we believe this lie. Let the spell be broken.

As pointed out in previous meditations (here and here) God does only ONE thing–give. Jesus as Gods representative tells us he came so everyone, not a chosen few would have life and have it abundantly.

Abundance in life, however I envision it, will be given to me. The question I need to answer is; is God a thief who wants to impoverish me or is God a generous, life affirming God, who wants us to have an Abundant Life? There is no compromise between the two. Because what agreement can darkness have with Light or a lie with the Truth?

Day 6 of the 40 days of prosperity.

What are my needs and desires? When I use the simple question; “What is this for?” and keep asking it until I reach to the very root of my desire the end result is that this object I believe will make me happy in some way by fulfilling its designed purpose. And yet I have found that the happiness I received was transitory and soon faded. After this happens enough times the disappointment pushes me to find a happiness that is more permanent.

As was shown to me earlier switching my priorities from things first to God first I can start with the things of the Kingdom of God which are Righteousness and Peace, and Joy in the Holy Spirit and from that foundation happiness will already be in me before the material things arrive.

A person at Peace,experiencing Joy and living rightly (righteousness) is a natural attractor of ALL good things. I become a magnate that attracts the good I desire NOW. from my inner pre-condition of love I live and move and have my being.

I am a magnet for all the good I desire and am attracting everything needed for my rich abundance to me manifested now. This flows from the Kingdom of God that is in me today. In Gods Kingdom time and space do not exist and this is where my true self lives. I now join with others in the mutual outpouring for the benefit of all.

As I give from my abundance I join with others giving from their abundance in a tidal wave of Life, Love, Peace and Supply of all needs met now. In Peace I surrender to you Lord to walk in Love and gratefulness.

My lesson for today from ACIM fit very well:

Lesson 251

I am in need of nothing but the truth.

I sought for many things, and found despair. Now do I seek but one, for in that one is all I need, and only what I need. All that I sought before I needed not, and did not even want. My only need I did not recognize. But now I see that I need only truth. In that all needs are satisfied, all cravings end, all hopes are finally fulfilled and dreams are gone. Now have I everything that I could need. Now have I everything that I could want. And now at last I find myself at peace.

And for that peace, our Father, we give thanks. What we denied ourselves You have restored, and only that is what we really want.

“I am conscious of the inner Presence as my lavish Abundance. I am conscious of the constant activity of the Mind of infinite Prosperity. Therefore my consciousness is filled with the Light of Truth.”

The Abundance of the song of Peace. This consciousness of the Presence of God at the center of my being brings Peace, joy, and prosperity in every area. This why it is so important to know who God is. See previous post here here. Our concept of God is the most important thought we can have. It is what guides our every thought and subsequent actions. In this knowledge we can be at peace only if our concept of God is one of Peace. We will have no enemies if the God we believe in is never threatened and therefore has no enemies. We will not want to attack anyone if the God we believe in does not have vengeance in his heart. How can we be in poverty if the God we believe in is always giving? How can we defraud or hold back from anyone if the God we believe in is always giving? Does the God we believe in give lavishly for any need of life? Do we need Peace, Love, Forgiveness, Mercy, Justice, Faith, Wealth a full bank account, Joy?

“…how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” The Holy Spirit is the Kingdom of God and is God working in us to give us All of The Kingdom, as much as we can receive. Ask and receive, seek and find, knock and open because God can do a lot better and more abundantly the those of us who are evil. Luke 11;9-13

Can anything ever be lacking in the Kingdom of God? No.

I looked up the derivation of  ‘Abundance’ in the “Online Etymological Dictionary”… from Latin abundare “overflow, run over,” from Latin ab- “off” (see ab-) + undare “rise in a wave,” from unda “water, wave”

A “Lavish Abundance” could mean a big wave maybe a tsunami of goodness flowing into our lives. Is this what Jesus meant that we would receive ‘overflowing’ as a result of our giving.

Or in John 7.38  ‘Out of the believer’s heart shall flow rivers of living water.’”
